IIS Smtp test

Enter a working and relaying SMTP server in the server settings.
To check if the SMTP server is working, do the following:
1. Open a command prompt
2. Give the command: telnet smtpserver 25
Telnet should open a connection to a mailserver.
3. Enter the following commands (do not make typo’s, the server does not handle backspaces. When making an type error, start all over again, or your message will not be accepted)

The server should respond with “Message queued for delivery”
